1. Receive Us
When we arrive at your doorstep (or wherever we find you), we hope you’ll welcome us with a smile and allow us to stay for a week or two (or longer if you like).
2. Track the Journey
If you’re feeling bold (and we hope you are!), document our travels and activities. Share the story of our time together via the website.
Click "Share your story" in our menu and use the Google Form prompts to upload, share and submit stories, pictures, or videos!
3. Share the Love:
Your task is simple: move us along. Whether to a friend, family member, or even a random porch that could use a little cheer, we trust your judgment. Just like we arrived unannounced and anonymously, take me to the new location to keep our mission alive by spreading joy.
4. Details to Consider
We’ve been carved from wood harvested in the Elk Fire area, so we are organic and green. As we dry out, we may develop cracks or checks. We are coated in an outdoor stain, so please be aware we might have a strong scent if kept indoors.
5. Future Information
If my human companions are up to the task, you’ll be able to follow along as my journey continues. You’ll also have the chance to track the progress of the other members of the fellowship, creating a larger story of joy and movement. In this way, you’ve become part of something bigger—our shared journey to spread smiles far and wide.
If you lose the greeting tag and/ or instructions attached to your gnome, please print out another sheet and attach it before sending it off to the next family!
